“Are my eyes fucking violet?” I widened my eyes at Rogue, so he could get a better look at them and slid closer to him. Rogue crouched down next to me, but he didn’t seem interested in inspecting the color of my eyes.

“Yes,” Rogue said simply, and pulled me into him, my ear pressed just over his heart. “Did you hit your head, Princess?” his fingers prodded my temples and started massaging my scalp as he searched for any major cuts or swelling.

My head did hurt, horribly, and I could feel small gashes close and tighten under his warm touch. I nervously peeked over at Adriem. His violet eyes were alight and otherworldly as he stared at me.

I could sense other people as they made their way to the ship we were on. People I didn’t know. I could fucking sense Rogue outside. How the hell? My head snapped up and I tried to focus my eyes on the ship's door as silhouettes appeared.

“Are they okay?” Another Rogue asked and squeezed himself into the small ship. “Oh, thank god. Adriem...I can’t...you did it.” All the worry he had held rolled off his shoulders, as the new Rogue bent down to me. His eyes were fucking violet too.

“What the hell?” I snarled at the violet eyed Rogue. “What is going on?” That couldn’t be Rogue...How? His eyes were that same startling violet, and his hair was reminiscent of Achilla’s light silver.

“Cy,” Adriem had gotten close enough to grab my hand and I could feel his body as it trembled with mine.

“No!” I yelled and yanked my hand out of his. I couldn’t handle this. It was too much. I shoved at Rogue’s chest to get away, but in my panic the violet eyed Rogue had gotten an arm around me. “Stop!” I screamed at him and struggled to get out of his arms. A hand grabbed me by the shoulder and the room brightly illuminated as someone drew their sword from their wrist.

“Are you in danger, little goddess?” The red-haired man mumbled into my ear. His arm hugged me to his chest with his sword in front of me, shielding us from my family in the ship. He backed us up against the far wall, only a couple of steps, and dropped me next to the girl. Swiftly, he maneuvered himself in front of us and pointed his sword at the rest of the ship's occupants.

“You,” violet eyed Rogue growled menacingly at the stranger and drew his own sword. The light from the molten energy was blinding as it reflected off the metal of the walls.

“Stop!” Adriem commanded powerfully. “Put your sword down, Roe.” I was shocked at how much authority Adriem could burst into the small space without getting up. When I glanced at him, he was still very much bleeding and beaten. The other Rogue complied to Adriem’s order immediately, not just lowering his sword, but he withdrew it completely.

“Gawen,” the small girl next to me reached up and grabbed the red-headed man’s pants.
